#197 – Linda McDowell

Unless you’re a pretty big fan of classic pornography you probably have never heard of Linda McDowell.  She wasn’t much of a star, but she did have a memorable scene with John Holmes, and appeared mostly in loops.

It’s fairly hard to find scenes featuring her, and when you do the quality isn’t always that great (and sometimes they have no sound), but she was very cute and I’m a pretty big fan.   She had a look that seemed to fit in perfectly with that decade, and looked like she could just as easily been in mainstream movies as porn.  She probably would have made a good second lead in ‘Planet of the Apes’ silently following around Charlton Heston.

#195 – Shauna Grant

Shauna Grant was one of the more memorable stars from the 1980’s, she was very cut and had a nice tight body. She was probably best known, and deservedly so, for her appearance in ‘Suzie Superstar’ although she did appear in a handful of movies that are definitely worth checking out.

She’s credited with about 70 appearances, and mostly starred in the early 1980’s plot driven movies that dominated the industry back then. She was certainly a big stat at the time and left quite a mark on the industry despite her premature demise at age 21.

#178 – Azlea Antistia

Azlea popped up in the late 1990’s and appeared in a few Vivid productions, and I believe some for Wicked as well.  She has listed on IAFD about 50-75 titles to her credit.  She was a cute girl, small frame, with a very nice ass and huge fake tits.  Although she never quite became a superstar in the adult world, she was pretty well known back in the day, and a great performer.

I believe she retired after only a few years in the industry, but I still remember her fondly.  In spite of her tits, which were way too big for her frame I always enjoyed her performances.  She had a certain look that was kind of unique back then, I think her best feature overall may have been her eyes.

#172 – Lisa Ann

Lisa Ann has transitioned into a MILF-sensation pretty well.  After starting her career back in the early 1990’s she had a brief exodus from the industry but returned a few years ago to work on many of the internet “reality” sites.

I think my favorite scene, and movie featuring Lisa Ann was Skin Hunger.  It also featured Jeanna Fine, who actually starred in the film, but Lisa Ann had a great scene as well, and it’s one of the few adult movies I made it through without hitting the fast forward once.

Amazingly, even though I think the film won an award for best film of the year way back in the mid-1990’s,  I have had no luck finding it anywhere for purchase.  If you get a chance, check it out.

Lisa has aged well, and is really attractive even today.  All too often these stars from a decade or so before come back to porn and they have lost their looks.  Lisa Ann is definitely an exception to that rule.  She still looks terrific, and makes for a perfect MILF.

She has a pretty face, and  large fake tits that I could live without, but she does wear them pretty well, something I can’t say for everyone.

#170 – Cyndee Summers

Cyndee Summers was a star in the 1970’s and into the early 1980’s.  The first film I saw her in was ‘Taboo 4′, part of the series made famous by Kay Parker.  The fourth one was when the whole series really started to fall apart.  Summers was a bright spot though.

A redhead, with a very pretty face Summers was definitely a stunning performer.  By the time she did Taboo 4 she was a bit older, but still looked pretty good.  If you check out her 1970’s performances you will definitely see what a beautiful lady she once was.

Her 1980’s appearances are a little hit and miss.  She looked fantastic in some, and not so great in others, but most of her work is worth checking out.  She was a MILF in those movies even before the term was en vogue.

#168 – Jill Kelly

What can I say, I was never a big fan of Jilly Kelly.  I’m not sure what it was, but I was always fairly disappointed when a scene of hers came up in a Vivid production in the 1990’s.

I wouldn’t want to diminish her talents too much though, because she was obviously very popular, and a member of the AVN Hall of Fame.  She was a prolific producer of porn films, and was featured in a lot of good movies during her time in adult films.

Jilly Kelly is a blond, with implants, and a nice body overall.  She has a pretty face, and appeared in what seemed like every movie in the 1990’s, (I think she has 400+ credits to her name at least).

I believe she worked through the early 2000’s, but I’m not certain about that.  I think in the end the same problem I had with Janine I had with Jilly Kelly, she kind of looked like a porn star.  Implants, blond, etc…..I really like their to be some distinguishing feature.  Jenteal was blond, but her body wasn’t that of a prototypical porn star, and she had a prettier face.  Nikki Dial, had real tits, and was incredibly hot.  I don’t know, ultimately Jilly Kelly was just too ordinary by porn star standards in my opinion.

#165 – Bunny Bleu

I never quite knew what to make of Bunny Bleu.  She was like the generic version of Nina Hartely, or Ginger Lynn.  If you couldn’t afford either of those two, go with Bunny Bleu!  She could play the same roles, she had a similar frame, she had the blond hair, she just didn’t quite have the looks of either of the others.

She had kind of goofy look actually, and her voice helped take that goofy look and make her quite adept at playing the young, naive girl that gets taken advantage of by just about everyone she encounters.

As she aged, her lack of classic good looks became a bit more pronounced, and once the body was gone, well, I couldn’t much stand her any more.  Nevertheless, she remained in the industry for a long time, and even managed to get a pair of implants that were approximately 18 times too big for her.  She also went with red hair later in her career which distanced her even more from the ditzy blond she played during the golden age of porn.

She’s credited with 530 appearances by IAFD, but I’m sure that a lot of those are through compilations and clips being used twice in different films which is nothing new today, and although less common, happened back in the day as well.

#159 – Lenora Bruce

Ever since I saw the movie ‘Bad Girls’ most of the cast became favorites of mine.  Anna Ventura was certainly the one that stood out the most for me personally, but Lenora Bruce was another one that caught my eye.  In the movie she was featured in a memorable scene with John Leslie, and ever since she’s always been on my radar.

She doesn’t have a ton of credits to her name, apparently she only worked sparingly in the early 1980’s, but she left a big enough impression on me to make this list.  Lenora had dark hair, small to medium sized tits, and a deer in the headlights kind of look in her eyes that always stood out. 

There wasn’t anything really special about her overall except for the fact that she was in ‘Bad Girls.’  She gets huge points for that, and as always extra credit for being around for the golden age of porn.

#157 – Heather Hunter

Heather Hunter first hit the scene back in the late 1980’s, and carried on in the industry throughout much of the 90’s.    I remember her most for her early 90’s work in “Blue Jean Brat”, at least that’s the film I think I first saw her in.  The Brat was a pretty big series in the early 1990’s featuring Jamie Summers.  The movies were all pretty ridiculous, but that was par for the course back then.

She had the body of a fitness instructor, and long dark hair.  She also had a very nice ass, and fake breasts, for which she can be forgiven since I can recall few stars that didn’t during that time period.  She was a Vivid girl, and maybe the first black Vivid girl, although I can’t really verify that.  It’s just a guess since I can’t recall many contract girls back then.

I can’t say I’ve seen a ton of her work, but she’s in the AVN Hall of Fame, and was a pretty huge start in the industry back in the day.   I only recall a couple films with her, and a few random scenes here and there, but because of her status as a superstar she deservedly comes in at 157 on the list.

Over the course of her career, according to IAFD, she appeared in over 70 DVD’s.

#156 – Teri Weigel

Teri Weigel was pretty famous back in the day for being a Playboy Playmate turned pornstar.  I’m not sure how many playmates actually end up doing porn, but I don’t think the number is that high.  I’m not really too concerned anyway, because every time I look at a Playboy (which isn’t often) the girls all look the same.  Some overly made up blonde with big implants.  That was great when I was 10 years old, but now it’s just sort of tiresome.

Other than the occasional celebrity I can’t think of many reasons to actually look at the magazine.

Teri Weigel appeared in dvd’s around the same time as Savannah in the early 1990’s, and she was a pretty vocal girl in her scenes, and overall good performer.  I was never a huge fan, but she is in the AVN hall of fame, and deservedly so.  She was a big star during her prime, and had some good films to her credit.

Since she was a star in the 1990’s she seems to have gone a little nuts with plastic surgery or something, because she doesn’t seem to be aging particularly well in my opinion.  She borders on scary looking in a lot of pictures in my opinion.

She has a lot of titles to her credit, over 100, so her work should still be widely available, and I think she may have had a comeback or two, but I’m not certain when those were exactly, I think it was early to mid 2000’s, but I may be wrong.
